Thread: Hana Hwy.

  1. #1

    Default Hana Hwy.

Drove the Hana Hwy on Maui yesterday. Had to do it in a Mustang Vert no MX5 available. Never seen anything like this drive. Fifty two miles of cliffs, mountains, valleys, one lane bridges, and A MILLION TURNS! it was like racing in an enduro. You never get going at much speed, but 40 miles per hour feels like 140. If you ever get the chance it is a must do. The views are beyond imagination.
Just like the rest of the tourist the girls and I had to have the "I Survived The Hana Road" T-shirts!
In a MX5 it would be even better.

On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

I wonder if I have been there in "Test Drive Unlimited".

Edit: Oops, Test Drive Unlimited was set on Oahu

We went to Maui and Lanai for our honeymoon. My event of choice was renting a C6 Vette convertible and driving the Hana highway. FANTASTIC road and monsterous engine :) too bad it was a lame auto.
