All I can say is WOW. Man they sounded good. The band performed as well as or better than just about anybody else that I've seen in the last 5 years. At times the lead singer, Donald Fegan, was overpowered by the band or backup singers. Yep, three woman blackup singers with really big affros. I will definitely see them again.

After the break about 150 people "rushed" the stage. The sound from down front (Nokia in GP) SUCKED HARD! I'm glad that I had the opportunity to get that close.

When the stage was "rushed", I assume the poor sound was in the PIT?

I've been there a few times and the sound was always excellent.

THe sound was great at my seat. HOwever after you got about half way towards the stage you no longer had sound comming directly from the main house speakers, only the monitors on the stage for the players. It was a mix of reverb from the house speakers and reflected sound from the stage monitors. I will NEVER sit up close at Nokia beasuce of this.
