Default '05 PAX index is up

    '05 PAX index

Hooray! STS's index went up .008, STX's index went up .007, while C Stock's index went down .001. Maybe the money spots won't be completely filled with ST cars next year.

That shouldn't be your problem though, right?

Interestingly, STU is the only ST class where the index dropped, and it dropped a lot (.827 to .81. I think an STU RX-8 would be an interesting project - excellent suspension geometry let down by overly soft stock springs (which can be cured in STU), and it has room to run 275/285 tires on 9"+ wheels at all four corners, while the rally cars are rules limited to 245 max width. It also weighs 200-300 pounds less than the rally cars.

Yeah, the index sucks for me, and Wayne Atkins, whose car I will be sharing for a few events this season. Does anyone on this list run STS 2 and want a co driver, and possibly some assistance in making the car competitive? Le'me know...

Sammm's NA would have been a great candidate for an STS2 project car, and I seriously considered taking it off his hands with that purpose in mind. Unfortunately, (1) I couldn't get a Cheap Bastard deal from the President and Founder of Team Cheap Bastard and (2) I'm about to dump all my cash into a new house , meaning I'll have none left over for... anything.

IIRC, Lost 216 is our resident STS2 pilot, along with his occasional co-driver in STS2Lmnop. Unfortunately, I don't think Lost hangs out here that much...
