E Stock it is. Thanks Doug! See you guys in the morning!

I actually like La Grave, but I am in the minority.
Congrats to Iain for his ES win in Cone-cerned's car.
For those not there, Matt Lucas referred to some new venues for next season. He would not say anything else, but I am looking forward to it.
I know what one of those venues is
It was a nice day, weather was much better than yesterday. I had some decent raw times but I coned away most my runs. Congrats to Kenny who I think had the fastest stock class time (and maybe fastest of all cars with doors and fenders). Jrj512's announcing was also priceless, you should do it more often.
Oh yeah I beat a GT-RRRRRR!!!!!!

I had a great time, also. I think first through eighth place was covered by about 1.7 sec in E stock.
altiain destroyed any excuses I could have in the future with his E stock win in Mr. DFL's car. Now everyone knows that it's me and not the car. Congratulations to altiain on his win.
How long is it until the next event?
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.

I am part of JRJ512's minority, in that I enjoy racing at La Grave. I am with Con-Cerned, when is the first event in 2009?
Nice job announcing Jarret.
I learned this the hard way.....
Take all of your valuables out of your car at night. This includes taking the mounting hardware off of your windshield or dash and hiding the power supplies. I lost over $ 1,000 to a thief with no hope of recovering my items and to top if off they smashed my window in the rain and my truck got soaked. Let my loss be your learning experience.
Jarret had most of us rolling the whole time. I vote that he does all his runs then announces for the rest of the day
And I don't really care for La Grave (my first time out there). Rough, dusty, and the poles don't inspire me to push the edge like Gerry does (or maybe it was the Kart friendly course design!).
And I beat a GT-R too! LOL.
First "heat" yesterday was definitely a noun and not a verb - it was tough to get any temp in the tires at all. I really enjoyed watching the ES competition, and I'm sad I missed the comic relief in the 3rd heat - I was working the radio on corner two, and most of the drivers were scattering cones left and right.
It was a good event, a good season, and good to meet and get to know all of you! I'm looking forward to next year!
As much as I hate to agree with jrj512 on anything, I like LaGrave. Then again, I'm partial to almost any site that isn't Pennington.
A big, big thanks to cone-cerned for letting me co-drive his E Stock car yesterday. I'd forgotten how much fun it is to drive a Stock class Miata, something I haven't done in almost three years. Winning was just a bonus.
I really enojyed the competition in class, and my hat is off to jrj512. He may not be much of a course designer, but he can pedal the wheels off of that little 1.6!
Hats off to General Default as well for winning B Stock, taking fastest Stock car time of the day, and top PAX spot in his new RX-8. Welcome back to the Stock classes, General! Hopefully Team Anorexia won't abandon the yellow banana for a Super Stock car next season, as it'll be fun to watch the three of you (and Saini) compete against each other!

I enjoyed the day very much and as far as LaGrave goes, it has the best restrooms of all the sites we visit. Simple things my friends!
I must thank Jeret for the enthusiastic "and that puts Bob in first place" even though no doubt I was the first car out in STS2 at the time. Looking forward to next year.

Was a great day except for that stinkin' neon. Stupid PAX index!
I never minded the location too much. The course was good and challenging. Loved the 3rd gear section (stupid 6 speed); actually it was the downshift that was fun right at the entrance to the off camber section. I'll be back for more next year though.
my data logs are showing me hitting 60+ mph on that front straight. That's pretty good for such a "small" location.
61.3mph in this one...

For comparison, at Mineral Wells last Sunday, I hit 75 on the back stretch:

1 Ian Peebles 56.640
2 Jerrett Jan 56.729
I'll chalk it up to Iain's 1.8 versus my 1.6.
