Motorcycle do have some sort of emissions. I used to ride an Kawasaki H2, a three cylinder two stroke 750cc street bike. They no longer produce large two stroke cc motorcycle for sale in America because of the emissions.
Hmm what is decent? Are we talking about your decent or my decent? I'm just curious because I don't want to offend anyone else's decent...

coming back from houston yesterday, there was 3 homeland security police cars traveling at 80mph in the left late with about 1/4 miles worth of pissed off cars behind them. we nearly shit bricks passing cop cars in the right lane but we did it very slowly (taking the better part of an hour) and luckily we were "just following the cars in front of us" (2)

And the one i find idiotic, that its not inforced.
In Texas, It is legal to pass on the right, but only the first vehicle and he must be stopped and have his signal on.
That is legal in rural areas not in town.
You are incorrect on the lane split in Texas. In Texas it's called lane sharing and is legal, but under only certain conditions. It is not legal to lane share at "highway" speeds, but in traffic conjestion, it is legal.
