Find somebody with a fancy code-reader that can clear/erase codes. Should be no issues going that route.FYI...un-hooking the battery will put 4 things in a 'Not Ready' state, and that alone will fail you at inspection. The car would have to be driven 40-50 miles to load the computer back up with data after a battery disco.
I think the guy at inspection told me 2 'Not Ready' codes is not a failure.
