It's not going to do well in low light, but I doubt that will be a problem at an autocross.

I got mine yesterday too... and I opened mine (my wife wanted to wrap it so I'm a little in the doghouse).
The built in memory lets you take 58 seconds of HD video (swell).
It's not as small as I hoped, so I'll likely be mounting it upside down... When I get a chance, I'll test it out and post a sample.
Just remember if anyone needs the video flipped or edited and uploaded to a website, I can handle all that and more

I haven't had good luck with generic brand small flash memory based camcorders. They always crap out in a few months (the sound is terrible too). Would be nice if they put some external mic hookups on these. Make sure you keep the receipt and warranty info.

This is class 4 so it's not fast at all. Just keep that in mind.
And SD cards are notorious for failing. Having multiple smaller cards might save some important video some day (at the expense of swapping the cards out frequently).
