Thread: Possibility for a Saturday Tech Day / Clutch Job day?

  1. #1

Default Possibility for a Saturday Tech Day / Clutch Job day?

What would be the best weekend for a clutch job / tech day / fluid type day at my place? I have air tools and would provide beverages and burgers, although would need the hands / expertise to help out with clutch change.

I'd like to get the BUR back on the road by February.

Wouldn't you need to have a day off for us to do this? Or are you planning on having the burgers delivered to us at your place while you're at the office?

    Either way, count me in.

Don't know how much the Miata Differs from other rear wheel drive vehicles for clutch jobs, but I wouldn't mind coming out to help out so if anything I can be an extra hand when needed and I can learn as well. I will keep an eye out for the time and date and then I will make sure I can make it with np. I will get directions after I know I can make it, but I am pretty sure if you are able to do this on a Sat you can count me in.

It is hard to say if I'll be there until you post a day and whether your bride will be around. I haven't seen her in FOREVER. I may not have seen you either. I can't remember

I can't make it this Saturday. Do you already have all the parts? Do you have a tranny jack?

I would be up for this. I would just like to see how it is done. I know the clutch in mine won't last forever.

Next Saturday would be better. I'm tied up tomorrow.

Tell me more about those burgers.

I read somewhere that the production of a pound of beef leads to the emission of greenhouse gases equivalent to 16.5 pounds of carbon dioxide. This is the same as driving for almost two hours while leaving all the lights on back home. Since it is something like a two hour roundtrip drive to your place, and since I will probably forget to turn out all the lights in the house, do you mind serving Boca Burgers for those of us whose New Year's Resolution is watching the size of our carbon footprints?
