Dayum Sharpie! That sucks. There's nothing you can do? Are there no substitutes qualified for special care kids? Can't call in any favors? You'll be missed at MSR.

I just cancelled. I'm gonna be spending my time transfering parts to a new shell.
Wealth, power, and experience are apparently not enough to save us from social influences. Groupthink, as described by I.L.Janis, is the tendency for group members to reach a consensus opinion, even if that decision is downright stupid (Janis 1982).

If I can get the '94 Running I want to go what is the deadline for signing up?

Yes I know it isn't nice to wait till the last minute but I got extenuating circumstances.

The sooner you sign up, the better the chances that this will stay a "Miatas-only" event.

You should sign up now - it'll give you an incentive to get the '94 running by that date.

Besides, don't you have a yellow backup Miata in case you don't get the '94 finished in time?

Tell her you'll keep it under 90.

Don't forget kids she will be the one picking out my assisted living complex so I try to keep her happy.

I have no desire to take the Yellow car to anymore track days, guess I'm just not willing to risk it.

Now the '94 on the other hand......

Just make sure she doesn't say that you told her that it was a good idea to "clean out the pipes" every once in a while if you catch her doing something inappropriate after prom
