So who's signing up for this. APex doesn't show many signed up it.
I don't need an instructor so would I be in the $195 price range?
Here is the lastest information on the Motorsport Ranch track day event of Friday May 22. The track day will be a FULL Apex Driving School meaning there will be instructors all day for the Novice and by request for the Intermediate. if you have attended more than one track day I would suggest you sign up for Intermediate. I would prefer to save Novice for those who have Never driving on a track.
There are 18 slots available for Novice, Intermediate and Advance. We will need a few extra instructors to help out since this is a Friday and most volunteer instructors can not get off. If you are qualified to offer assistance to a Novice driver please let me know and we will get you in touch with Keith Verges of Apex.
Cost for the event is $205 for Novice and Intermediate and $195 for Advance. Instructor have there own track session and there entry fee is free. We probably could use about 10 more.
If you have any questions please let me know. Also I would really appreciate it if you are also on other Forums that you would comment about the upcoming event.
Thanks,
Gary

I'd love to go, but MWII is the priority for me. With a Grand already spent on the weekend, I can't justify the extra money. I wish Gary's event was happening a few months after MWII.
I'm thinkin' of doing this since I'm missing MWII. Too much going on for me to blow that much money. My dad isn't going because he doesn't think it's worth the cost and he's been doing miata events since 94' and my mom even wanted to go.

Don't look...there's nothing down here for you!
I'm registered as well.
This will be a lot more fun than MWII IMHO, a lot cheaper and since the vendor area will be open to the public (from what I hear), that is what I really am looking forward to.
Beside, LSMC totally blew me off when I offered to help. I signed up for 2-3 committees and they never contacted me. I will also not be renewing my membership with them. It seems they haven't changed and want to remain the AARP of Miata Clubs.

We need to get our locals to sign up now so we can make sure this gets off the ground. Also Apex is going to make some changes on the entry on their site. Currently if you sign up and it does not know you it will require you to make a user name and password. After that it will want to set you up as a Novice. Keith told me to have you CALL him and tell him your experience and he will determine what class to put you end. Of course there are only 3 classes so suggest if your are Novice or Intermediate to move a little faster in signing up.
At any time if you have questions call me at 214-340-9797 or Keith at Apex 214-939-2017.
Thanks,
Gary
