    Default Depowering a 94 rack

I have read the write up on how to depower a steering rack. If I want to remove the PS pump but keep the ac do I need to get a tensioner braket for that belt?

If so anyone know where to find one?

I'm pretty sure Flyin' Miata sells the belt for any accessory configuration. Not sure about the tensioner pulleys.

    AC?! It's a miata!

You're gonna need the rare AC tensioner bracket from an r-package.

I've got one and I may decide to ditch my AC if a recharge doesn't get it working so I will let you know if it becomes available. You should be able to get this from a mazda dealer if you want to pay.

The kit part number for the pulley, bracket & belt and some other bits of hardware for your 1.8 is NA79-YV-SK1.

Getting the kit is less spendy than getting bits one at a time.

I actually lucked out and walked through the miatas at mazda heaven one day and found that bracket.
