Default Got me a roll bar!

A couple of weeks ago I bought an autopower roll bar from popopo and here it is. I wasnt sure of what I was gonna do. Either paint or powder coat it, I got to sanding it down to remove the coats that it had and in the long run ended up polishing it. I'm very happy with the results so far. It did take a considerable amount of time but it beats $900 for a polished one.

Its still not complete, I have to put a coat of clear to protected it from the humidity causing superficial rust but so far so good.

Blingtastic! I'd be interested to see how the finish holds up. I have polished stainless steel and it's no issue.

Thanks, well for some reason I do have some really light rust on it since its just bare metal. The welds did rust really quick when I sanded them and since I couldn't get all the paint off I ended up giving just the welds a coat of chrome paint to blend in.

Well duh, of course it rusted. I mean it looks really nice in the pictures but geez that's a lot of work just to let it rust in a few hours because you didn't put any clear on there.

I didn't clear because I'm not quite done, I still wanna polish it some more I'm just short on funds and time since I cant work on it at home.

    You should paint it black.
