Thread: DFW junkyard??

    Default DFW junkyard??

Are there any Miata junkyards in DFW, or any junkyards that tend to have a few? I'd like to scavenge some goodies for my 92.

It IS heaven! I found my instrument cluster cover, and a bunch of other small misc parts, including a nice-condition steering wheel (mine had crusty leather all across the top from sun damage), and paid half of what I expected! Two thumbs up!

It's a great place, but the pricing depends on the guy's mood.

Must've been a "good mood" day. I got a cluster cover (two missing tabs, but clean, repairable and I had NONE), jack, leather steering wheel (perfect condition), sheet metal that covers the fuel filler hose in the trunk and the under-steering-wheel metal panel, plus some misc bolts and screws, for $55, which was more than reasonable to me.

Nope, the ones on Mansfield don't stink. They smell auto air fresheners.

No car guy would ever live in Highland Park because of the typical small lots.
