Thread: New project car over at the inlaws

Default New project car over at the inlaws

My father-in-law has a 1941 Ford truck street rod that he built from the ground in the 80's with no help. He spent the 90's enjoying it, and has been updating it some over the last 5 years, but finally got the bug to build a new one. This is what he just picked up off of Craigslist out of San Antonio:

It's a 34 Ford Sedan with a 5" chop. It will be getting a rat rod treatment.

That's cool. I thought you'd already got Ranger engine, etc..... Between that and the 7 they should be done about the time your daughter starts driving.

They were shopping for rangers then stuff happened. It is now mine (the work, not the car), and in line. I already have the engine, transmission, and harness for it... I may work on it some day.

I don't know if it will be a flathead, but I know if will be a Ford. He has a 302 in his '41, and I know he hates guys that put a Chevy small blocks in to a Ford.
