Thanks for letting me drive your NA. Handles better than mine with those tein flex coilovers Gary sold ya. May be my next mod.
Actually, it was courtesy of Nails. We both had nothing better to do than thrash our cars on the twisty roads up around Allen and Lake Lavon. His car has a really nice setup with the wide-ass T1Rs, springs and sways. It was rock-solid, and nothing like the NC I drove at Town North a while back. So stable, so precise, soooo much grip. It just takes a set in a corner and doesn't let go. It does not drive like a Buick Electra 225. That motor also pulls like a damn freight train compared to mine, and the brakes were awesome! I'm now a big fan of the NC...
Michael, thanks for letting me thrash your car today!
Now, having said that... I still love my NA better... I'm spoiled by that go-kart/roller-skate feel that the NC just barely misses.

It was definitely cool/weird following my car through those corners and seeing how it reacted - especially that one bumpy S-curve under the old railroad trestle... very cool.

I would love to have an NC as a daily driver, but I prefer autocrossing an NA.
Yep the NC is cool :)
Nails car looks great too.

Should have let me know. I could have added the NB for the full compliment.![]()

Is it wrong I am cryingmy cars in the shop....
do have to ask... which is your fav... NA NB NC
That's kind of like asking what your favorite desert is. Chocolate cake, cherry pie or ice cream. Everyone here has a different opinion as to their favorite, but most like all three.![]()

NA is my favorite body style and for racing. But the NC is newer and nicer. Never had or even driven an NB.

Having driven all three, my favorite is still the NA. It has that go-kart feel, and (for me, at least) the steering wheel/shifter/pedal relationship is PERFECT. The NB has the same ergonomics, but it just doesn't have the same raw feel. The NC has an incredibly solid feel, ridiculously stable handling, tons of power, and some other really nice features (like awesome auxiliary heater vents that I can't quite explain).
If I had to quantify...
I'd have an NC for a road trip car.
I'd have an NB for a V8 conversion.
I'd have an NA for daily driving and track days (with a supercharger, I think)... but I've had great success with my NA as a road-tripper, sooooo...
Go figure...
