West side tire installation

I noticed a thread not long ago about the high price of DT for installing tires on new rims.
Since i will be needing this done right away I am wondering if anyone knows of a place that can do this on the West side and have the answers to some questions I have about the TPMS.
I am planning on removing the TPMS sensors and using regular valve stems.
p.s. got the rims in late yesterday but haven't had a chance to weigh them yet.

Don't know what your question about TPMS is, but many people can't stand the light, so they install all 4 TPMS sensors in the spare (drill extra holes), or they create a 4" PVC "bomb" with the sensors installed on to it, then fill it with air.

You should have no problems with regular valve stems. I switched my TPMS from the stock steelies on my Yaris over to aftermarket wheels, then put rubber stems on the stock wheels, and have had no problems on either.

I dont mind the light but dont like the TPMS, no spare.. so i will just have them removed and sell them probably.

I went to a DT store the other day. They only had 2 cars in the bays and non waiting in the parking lot. I think that shows how slow the economy really is.


I would pay a little more for a DT mounting on a low profile tire setup. I think they would stand behind their work if their was a mess up.

I also thought about bringing my 2x4's and jacks, taking the wheels off 2 at a time and having them do the rest to be sure they dont screw up my car.

Got the rims, found out my scale is broken.
so I have not weighed them.
