Been a while since I saw that episode but isn't it the one where they got pulled over a few times? Good stuff!
I liked the free advice they got on the salt too.
What a job those guys have! Came to USA to test muscle cars: Dodge Challenger Hemi, Caddie CTS-V, and a ZR1. As usual, they drive them hard....very hard, eventually ending at Bonneville to test on the "short" track (1 mile standing start). Took them awhile to figure it out, but here are the speeds at the traps: 150, 162, 176. Too bad they didn't do the flying mile The ZR1 is awesome!

Yes they did get pulled over, once on the Vegas stirp for rapidly accellerating and once on a back road speeding. But at least it was all "factual".

You know about finalgear.com right? Saves the wait...

Yeah, I thought it was funny that Chrysler/Dodge wouldn't give them a Challenger to test because "Top Gear is always horrible to us". So Top Gear turns around and buys a Challenger -- and paid $10k over sticker -- to test the car anyway. Good poke/point by Chrysler, and better response from the Brits!
In the end, the Top Gear boys actually liked all three cars, although Captain Slow was the last to warm up to the Caddy...
