Thread: It seemed like a good idea at the time...

Angry It seemed like a good idea at the time...

So a rabbit thought it was a good idea to have her babies under our wood pile out back. My dogs thought it was a brilliant idea. I got to spend the evening cleaning up baby bunny carnage from around the yard before my 5 year old daughter saw it.

Sounds like your daughter would have had an early lesson in the life cycle. Good thing you get up early.

If by OK, you mean warm and secure in my dog's belly, than sure, they are OK.

I don't think a baby bunny could eat a dog.

I had to pull a dead baby bunny out of one of the pool skimmer baskets last summer. Tastes like chicken.

My old cat used to bring me rabbit heads and such. He was breaking into our neighbors cages and killing them.
Wealth, power, and experience are apparently not enough to save us from social influences. Groupthink, as described by I.L.Janis, is the tendency for group members to reach a consensus opinion, even if that decision is downright stupid (Janis 1982).

Or slightly more accurate but less cute sounding, is that he is a cat serial killer.

    Tastes like mice?

Seriously, why do all cat food commercials brag about chicken flavor or tuna flavor, but never mouse flavor?

Show me a cat that can catch a chicken or an albacore tuna and I'll show you a scary cat.

And why don't they make dog food that comes in cat poop flavor? I know dogs that would consider that a delicacy...

^LOL my last dog was a fan.

That is the biggest joke about a cat ever, cats hate water, but love seafood.

When I lived in California, I had a huge koi pond with about 40 koi in it. My cat would sit at the edge of the pond, staring longingly at the fish that were just out of her reach. It shows what cats and Man have in common. We both want what we can't have.

Teach a cat to fish...how does that go again?
