Thread: Power adapter 65W vs 90W

Default Power adapter 65W vs 90W

The adaptor on my Lenovo is dead, and looking for compatible ones I find a 90W 20 volt that Amazon says works on the 3000 model. But the original is a 65W 20V, so will the 90W one work? Or should I keep looking for the exact original?

I went the Ebay route and got a used one with the exact part number.

    YMMV

The ratings are the maximum power that the supply can provide to a device. As long as the voltage is the same and plug matches the notebook it will not be a problem.
