You say a "please join us" a few times but for some reason I don't think a miata would be welcome unless we meet the super high horsepower requirement, it looks like the organizers took special care to include every car type except imports. So inviting us to come out but telling us to hide our cars away from the main area is kinda jacked up.

This sounds and looks like from the pictures like a bunch of guys that don't really "drive" their cars.

Yeah, but the "Filling Station" is cool.
I have been hanging out there since 1995 when one was in Addison.

Your car is pretty "trick" - you should be able to park in the main display area and mess with people by opening the door when they walk by...

    Mature enthusiasts only.
    21 - 50 year olds only.

    Too exclusive for me!

Guess that leaves out my Jeep. Wonder if my CTD meets their HP requirement? Maybe after the Banks system is installed.

Sounds too mature to be fun. I'm not interested...

I'm going for some immature fun at Mazatlan in Denton at 6pm Sunday nite.
Anyone else is welcome to come. Age and car cleanliness doesn't matter.

Maybe the title should be mature "people with money" rather than "enthusiasts"

I don't know...I see a few Mustangs and VW's in the pics. Still, I agree that this looks like an ego-fest more than an enthusiasts meet. Anyone wanna figure how many Miatas we could buy for one Viper?

My miata isn't my daily driver, but it is almost 20 years old and is not in perfect condition. Has a few hail dents, and is pretty much stock. Guess I don't qualify either.

My daily driver is a 2008 Lancer and is spotless (as are all my cars) I wonder if that is closer to the "requirements"

AW Shucks - at 57, I'm too mature.

I could name a dozen people who would have never thought I'd be too mature for anything

Real enthusiasts DO something besides polish their cars.

I suspect that those young-un's think if you're over fifty, you're senile......... We should all show up in our Miatas, wearing depends (on the outside, of course)!

Out of curiosity, anyone know how many members we have that are over fifty?
