Thread: The POS Saga Continues

    Default The POS Saga Continues

As some of you may know I started playing Autocross with a car called the POS Racer.

It got the name when I brought the vehicle home the wife asked what is this POS.

Car had a salvage title and had been hit more than Rihanna. Here is a picture.

It only seem right to call the next car the POSII and it was a great little car nice little '92 C package car, it's issue was the motor wasn't exactly strong at a dyno day it pumped out a whopping 88 Horse Power.

Then I was made aware that a formally nationally competitive car was available and I jumped and bought it from one of our local heroes.

It always seemed odd to call this Car the POSIII but in keeping with tradition I called it the POSIII. I also changed my number to 88 in honor of my old '92. This car rocks and has won many a magnet and some nice glassware, as well as an SCCA National Event and has always been a contender. The key weakness of this car has always been it's current owner.

And Yesterday I went back to my roots and bought a POS, this one doesn't even run. Not real sure what the future may be for this car, but I am looking forward to tinkering with it!

Are you going to have a problem with rear-end lift at high speed if you remove the wing?

You could feel the wing generating down-force as I towed the car home!

The POSIV is a '94. Haven't decided on the fate of the POSIII yet.

But the has informed me it is unacceptable for her Miata to not have it's own car hole in the garage, so I now seem to have a storage issue....

Just wrap it in a blue tarp and put it in the yard. Nobody will notice, I assure you!
