I have the info from DP and am gonna look into it. I also got pics and the plate from another car in the area that the UPS guy spotted.

With all the help I am getting, it's only a matter of time before he is found.

OK, I got a better look at the car, and found out that the frame is toast. It is bent at the firewall.

Hopefully someone knows of a good deal on a shell or similar in the area?
I just need something to swap the parts on to.

Anyone know of any in the area?

Check on specmiata.com and with the racers down at MSR. Someone will have a tub somewhere.

I've seen a few cars getting parted out on craigslist so there might be an undamaged shell in there somewhere, but wouldn't bet on it. Sorry to hear about the frame being toast.

I have a few friends out at MSR, so I sent some emails out to them asking for help. I also have been browsing Craigslist, but nothing yet.

Saw this on CL today and thought of your hit and run incident, although it is a gold Aurora, not a Malibu.

I let the wife look at it, and she said that isn't the one that hit her.

Thanks for keeping an eye out. I really appreciate it.

Yes, and no. I found one, with a title, and it ended up having some minor front end damage as well. It was in the front part of the frame, so fixable with little issues. I decided to just get a local shop to get the one that was hit "close enough" so I could still drive it. I'm planning on doing a full cage, seam weld, etc on the shell, but just need to find the time and money.
