What kind of wood? My uncle from New Mexico likes to come out this way and pick up oak to burn in his wood stove and BBQ pit...
Anyone need any free firewood?
We're buying a getaway place up in Whitewright and should have it closed next week. The yard is overgrown and there are several trees to take down.
I have no need for firewood.
I have a chainsaw but if you want some free firewood bring a saw and a truck. Hell, I'll even fill the back of my truck up and help you haul another load at the same time.
If no takers, no big deal. I'll pile it up and put a free sign on it. Someone will take it.

Hadn't paid attention... I know there's one pecan tree for sure.
When we close next week, I'll go look.

Depends, If you are making the trip anyway and the wood is free.
Congrats on the new property. I wanna move to Colorado. Now just need to convience the wife she does too.
My brother moved to Colorado about 12 years ago. He have been very happy with the decision. He is big into backpacking and skiing. Oh, and he had a job there before he moved.
You can see Pikes Peak from his back porch. (Yeah, I know that's not saying much, but I was impressed.)
On the track, I am fearless.
If you were as slow as me, you wouldn't be afraid either.
