OK,

There's a new exploit out for Adobe Acrobat Reader. It even affects the new 9.1 version. The workaround to keep from getting infected is to simply change a setting on it to disable running embedded javascript code.


Open up Adobe Acrobat Reader program and click: Edit -> Preferences, Click the JavaScript option on the left and uncheck the "Enable Acrobat JavaScript" box. Click OK.

Sigh... If it's not one thing, it's another with these jackasses.

acrobat has always been a terrible POS. I'm not surprised that they are finding all these issues with it.

HAHAHAHA - When I was in a CISSP bootcamp there was a lady that worked for McAfee taking it too. I asked her about that just as a joke. She came unglued! It was funny listening to her rant, she made sailors blush and preachers faint.

If any of their products actually worked, this would seem plausible...
