Well, looks like the roomate has a job. Woohoo.

Anyone have some S Tech Springs they want to let go for a steal? Or anything else on the less expensive end of things?

Read this, but other than that they can be found for $160 to $180 online pretty easily

Also, Gary sells 'em brand new for $230. Throw those together with a set of R-Pack Bilsteins and you'd have a pretty nice setup, IMO.

I was about to suggest Ebay but read Juano's post first, that's so cheap how on the part they use a sticker for the logo. I got lucky and found mine on craigslist new. I've seen them online going for $160 shipped from what appeared to be legit stores.

You will have to go with new shocks and more importantly the correct bumpstops with these springs. I don't know what shocks you are running but they will have to have greater damping ability to handle the heavier spring rate. Unless you are a big fan of the pogo stick.

It took me three tries to get the right bumpstop heights on my Bilstein HD's. Turns out to be 42mm front and 46mm rear. Shorter will put your tires into the fender wells and longer (stock is 62mm) will put you on the bumpstops all the time.

I am running Bilstein HDs, stech springs and FCM bumps with NB sport swaybars and adjustable endlinks. I am very pleased with the setup and get a streetable ride.

If you carry a lot of junk in the trunk or passengers all the time you may find the rear to be too low. Of course I'm pretty sure you and any passenger would weigh less than I do.

Hmm... so is there any reason one can not just just hack 20mm off of the bumpstops on the miata..... not that i've done that in the past on other cars...

My s-techs came with a chart listing the proper size for the bump stop and where to cut them, I trimmed mine exactly as it said. However, I -knowingly- opted out of getting upgraded shocks since I got the springs for cheap with the idea of getting coilovers in the near future, didn't predict losing my job shortly after but oh well, only the rears are blown so far.
