Just for the record I used the following items to get it red again!
- Meguiars Claybar
with an orange CCS Pad. (I started with this didn't clean up as good as I hoped so I went back to Intensive polish)
with an orange CCS Pad.
then back to this also with an orange CCS Pad.
with a white CCS Pad
with a black CCS pad (need to do this step a couple more times)

And I used my trusty G110 Meguiars Polisher.
