Some guy named Brad responded early this week but I haven't heard from him since.
If that sale falls through, OZMDD has dibs. Trickyrix is next in line.

Take me out of the "backup" line, I ordered one from FM before these others popped up for sale...

Hey in my original message I mentioned that I would probably not make the wed night meet and that Friday (today) would be the first time I could meet. I called twice today and left one message but never heard back so let me know.

    thanks,

    Brad

You should be able to rob those off of an extra kiddy seat if you have one laying around. However, which side of the belt would you put that on to make it work right? I assume the lap portion of the belt closest to the buckle.

Yes and yes. Adjust the lap belt where you want it and then run both pieces of the belt thru the clip.

Having used the "kiddy seat" lockdown, the "twist the belt" method, and a proper CG lock, I firmly believe the CG lock is worth the $30. Especially in a car like mine that has very little lateral support, and if you get in and out very much... The CG lock is stupid simple to operate, yet gets you halfway to 2/3rds the way to racing harness restraint. I have a CG lock in my Vue, and my wife now knows to expect something bad (i.e. high lateral-g maneuvers) when I reach down and cinch the belt and lock the CG lock. She doesn't have one, so she just reaches for the door handle and closes her eyes and...
