Default Miata workshop manual ... glovebox edition?

I'm seeing a workshop manual listed online as a "glovebox edition". Is this some sort of scaled down manual not worth getting or is it the proper manual? It's got a red cover and that's about all I can tell from the tiny picture.

    Regards.

I haven't seen the one you're talking about. If you're looking for a good workshop manual, this one is pretty darn nice - but it won't fit in your glovebox...

Grabbing that one as well. What color is your factory manual?

I have the 1.6L version of this manual (for my 92) and it's really useful. I use it more than my Haynes manual for sure.

Found the same book at GoMiata, so I'm assuming "glovebox edition" is just some strange typo at Amazon. Thanks guys.

My factory owner's manual is beige-ish. I've got the Haynes book and that Enthusiast's manual. Folded in half, the Haynes book is good for a makeshift pillow, but that's about it.

It will fit in the seatback pocket, though...

    +1 for Rod's book
    -1 for Haynes
