I think they are woodgrain stickers, I dont know...I may decide to restore it slowly, it's in pretty good shape for it's age. I want to keep it original and stock tho.
I will probably rebuild the engine in a year or two also. good time to paint when the engine is out.

How long was this truck sitting without any use. Rings will re-seat if you drive it a while after it has set for a long time. Also, you might want to try KREEN to help reseat the rings.Originally Posted by Billy Blaze
Did you try seeing if putting some oil down the cylinders improved the compression? If not, it maybe valves/valve guides.
