I was in Best Buy (Mesquite) earlier this week and they had Infinity Kappa component speakers for $135 per pair. I have the Infinity Reference components and they are much better than two-way speakers.

2006 Red NC - GT with limited slip, HIDs, all OEM.
In all honesty I'd go for a non-Bose factory deck from the same year to avoid the top cutting thief problem.

eBay is your friend for speakers.

Just replace it yourself. Replacing a car stereo is replacing a car stereo. Doesn't matter if it's Bose or not. It's not like they use some crazy new technology that's unheard of and difficult to understand. It's wires and speakers just like anything else.
Next to changing your oil, car audio is probably one of the easiest DIY jobs you can do.
