    Default Fog light grill Tutorial

I figured I would make a tutorial about this, since I'm not doing much else. Things you'll need: grill material, I used gutter guard material from Home Deopt; tin snips, cardboard to make a template, and hardware to mount it. Also you can paint them if you want to.

First, I pulled the bezels off the car. I was re-mounting them anyway because they were loose. Cut out a cardboard template for your grill. I made a simple circular one with 3 mounting tabs.

    Make sure it fits

Here you can see how the tabs mount.

Transfer the template to the material

And cut them out. Tin snips worked well for me.

Test fit the grills in the bezel, and make sure they fit well. Mine required a little extra trimming.

Once I was happy with the fit, I drilled the 3 holes in the bezel for the hardware. I didnt get any pics of this, but it's pretty easy. Test fit the bezels in again with all the hardware in. Now if you want to paint them, take out the grills and paint. I shot the bolt heads too so they wouldn't be able to be seen.

Put the grills back in the bezel and re-mount them on the car. I used 3m double sided tape. Enjoy

I like them. My total budget was $7.85, and I could have trimmed a dollar or two out of that if I needed too. I have extra grill material if anyone wants some, enough for 4 more grills. I'll just give it too you, just PM me and I'll bring it to a Wednesday night meet or something.
