Thread: I am so PISSSSED

    Default I am so PISSSSED

Cannot believe it. I had arranged to purchase an item that I really wanted from a guy and we agreed on a time and place for me to come see the item. Told him it was EXACTLY what I wanted and even offered money to have him hold the item and he said he would hold the item and we setup a time for me to come to his house.

Well I get an email today that says sorry, a young man came by and offered to by the item and I sold it.

I just don't believe it. (BTW if by some crazy reason the seller actually reads this, which is very doubtful, you have my cell # and email and feel free to dispute this with me, in fact I welcome it.)

I travel for work and the seller would have had to wait two additional days, but why can't people just be honest and say no I cannot hold the item for you?

I know I won't get any kind of closure on this, just wanted to vent.

That's what I tell myself when I return the "extra" change the guy at the store gives me because he cannot count. LOL

    Sorry that happened to you.

I had somebody do that to me on a bike I reeeeeally wanted. Ever since then, I tell the seller "I'm on my way with cash right now" if I can possibly do it. I also only hold things (as a seller) for people I know. Otherwise, I tell all potential buyers "the first one here with cash at my price gets it."

Again, sorry he treated you that way.

My 1994 with the ABS is for sale, so I figured I could replace one of them right????
I learned this the hard way.....

Take all of your valuables out of your car at night. This includes taking the mounting hardware off of your windshield or dash and hiding the power supplies. I lost over $ 1,000 to a thief with no hope of recovering my items and to top if off they smashed my window in the rain and my truck got soaked. Let my loss be your learning experience.

Yea have not posted it yet, have a couple of people that I know who are at least a little interested in it, so it won't go on public sale until they say no. It is a nice car and I really like it. Only problem is that the car has ABS and LSD and you cannot have them in STS which is the class I want to compete in. If you swap out the LSD with an open diff, then you still have to deal with the fact that no ABS was offered on open diff cars in 1994. So to be legal in the class, I have to look for a different car.

Karma please look favorably on me. jajajajajajajajajajajajajaja

Hmmm well your fortune telling skills are to be commended because yes this is a red car too.

    What's wrong with red?

See lot's of good things come in red.

I have nothing against red anything... I just don't like to drive/ride stuff that's red. I'm sure I was dropped on my head as an infant or something.
