Not a big deal...it's not a '67 Shelby Cobra or even a collectible Miata. Anyone who knows Miata's will know those panels are not original to the car. New sheet metal is better than 20 lbs. of bondo IMO.
I have some pretty extensive body damage on the drivers side, and I got an estimate for only the rear quarter panel, planning on just replacing the door and fender. but then the guy brought up that if I replace the door, then it'll be harder to sell because the numbers wouldn't match.
is it really that big of a deal?

alright, thanks.
how much should i expect to spend on a door and fender?
I just gave $120 each for a door and fender from a guy who adv. on craiglist.
I thought it was a deal since they were the color I needed and paint can get expensive and take a lot of time.
I called Miata Heaven, and they did not have a door shell available at the time.
