    Default want to rent: bore-scope

I want to take a look at my piston tops and make sure all is well. I can't tell if there are aluminum shavings from pulling the spark plugs, or pieces of piston, or just nothing at all and I'm making myself paranoid.

Where can I borrow or rent these?

Go buy one from Harbor freight and let the rest of us use it at a later time.

I'll politely avoid the "rent it out for colonoscopies and make your money back" joke.

If I look down the spark-plug holes and see shiny silver that could possibly look like a flake, then I think that's worthy of looking?

I'd want to know what it was if it were my motor.

so where can I rent one of these, or is there a shop in town who will let me take a look? I'd rather not take the head off.

Perhaps you'll find something shiney and silver.

This seems like something one of the typical shops should have on-hand: Alamo, Jotech, ATS & the like. Interscope or Driver's Edge might also be able to help.
    Maybe Rogue can help?
