It depends on where I have breakfast. Anywhere from 25 feet on. It also depends on where I'm working on a given day. One day in the not too distant future, it will be 337 miles .

Used to be 120 miles round trip (most of it through North Dallas traffic).

Now it is 12 miles round trip, mostly two-lane back roads.

If I need to drive into the office (a few times a month) it's a little less than 22 miles.

'Bout 20 miles each way down two lane country roads, except for about 3 miles in the sprauling City of Lake Worth But I hate to think whats its gonna be like in about 15-20 years. Kindof Like COlleyville is now.
Hmm what is decent? Are we talking about your decent or my decent? I'm just curious because I don't want to offend anyone else's decent...

110 miles one way when I am on call for trauma. 1/2 of it is all country back roads. It is usually very early and then very late and I am in a hurry so I don't get to enjoy the drive much.
The other half of the month it is only 75 miles one way. All of that is country back roads with lots of fun hills, curves, corners, sweepers and beautiful scenery with many optional different routs to take depending on my mood.
I drive to fast to worry about my cholesterol.

About 30 feet, although it's a bit further in the summertime cause poolside office is twice as far.
