1963 Apollo GT convertible

I was out in California last week visiting the folks. While there, my Dad took my daughter Jamie and I over to one ow his neighbor's house so Jamie could see the guy's giant pet tortoises. While there, my Dad says to the guy, "Todd is a car guy... show him what you got in the garage." I had seen the garage open with an AMG convertible of some sort sitting in it so I said, "What, the AMG". He says "no... thats my wifes slushbox. My toys are in the other garage." He takes me up there, and shows me a red Dino, a white Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, and a dark blue 1963 Apollo GT convertible, one of 11 made. VERY cool collection of cars. Sadly, I did not have a camera with me, but I found the picture below from when he took the Apollo to a car show.

A "car show"? Isn't that Pebble Beach! That's like saying his Apollo is a "a convertible" and when somebody asks what kind, you say "blue". Regardless, holy crap, your dad has a well-heeled friend. I suggest you suck up to him as much as possible.
