Steal or Scam, JUMP ON IT

I have no affiliation with this whatsoever and I also have no idea if it's a scam. If it's not a scam, it's a steal.

2004 Ti Mazdaspeed, hardtop, HardDog roll bar, tonneau, 26K miles, some underhood extras, $12,000!

If I hadn't already found my car, this one would be mine as soon as I could get to Mansfield with cash.

I'd say it is a steal. I got mine for 11,500 2 weeks ago with 11k more miles, no extras besides a set of off-brand 16" wheels.

Interesting intake setup he has there, non-orthodox for these cars. Looks like a FM TB Elbow w/custom bypass and a REALLY weird wastegate setup coming off of the compressor outlet bridge pipe...

I know this won't turn off most people here, but I'd bet it's seen some aggressive driving, maintenance is likely something to look at with it.

Overall, I'd buy it if I didn't just buy one!

I guess ground effects were an option on those cars cause that doesn't look like the usual MSM front bumper to me.

Good catch... it's got the MSM rear bumper, but it is missing the front bumper lip. It also looks lowered, so he may have mangled it and took it off, or he could have been in an accident. It should look like this:

With the cheap price and the mods under the hood.... along with the missing ground effects/nose piece.... I cry BS.

Take the VIN # and call Mazda to see if it even was a MS Miata. It's not hard to swap parts around and slap a decal on a car.

It's either that or it's a wreck/rebuild and a cheap one at that.

He is also missing the rear spoiler and the logos are shaved...other than that it looks like a mazdaspeed.

If you click on the pictures in his ad you'll be sent to his photobucket account.

You can see that he had a big ass turbo on the car at one time, not that its a bad thing, but there could be potential problems with the engine. The drift sticker kinda leads you to believe that this car has been put thru it hard.

Not that I claim to know anything at all about MSMs, but I thought they all came with canvas tops not vinyl.

15s wouldn't do the bodystyle justice. You have to go 16s or 17s on those.

The Leather option added the canvas top, if it has cloth seats, no canvas

BTW I sent the guy an email with about three or four questions and his response what to call him since I was asking so many questions. If it were closer I'd go look at it just for fun.

Both bumpers were replaced, seller said only bumpers were damaged. Salvaged title. Seller seems very shady.
