Anyone planning on going this weekend? I think I may head out there for an hour or two just to have a look around.

Im trying to make it out there with my Dad. I've heard it's a must see. This weekend is supposed to be a huge turnout.

autocrosspicturesnet,
You should go (with your camera) for those of us who can't make it!!!
I'll likely be there with the rug rat.
I plan to go with my new Vivid.
Hmmm, I could go to this, its 2 or 3 blocks from my apt or I could go to the Lincoln Tech - Pep Boys Regionals car show in Grand Prairie. The charity I support is the "charity of choice" for the event. I may have to hit up the bimmers early and then head over to GP to get a few shots for the charity.
I'm sure the Bimmer crowd will love me pullin' up in the smokey 'Stang

So is this just a huge car show and hang out then? Looks like it would be worth a trip, at least.
Missing my Miata...

Ya, if you find the pictures from the last ones, a LOT of exotics come out. Veyron, Saleen S7, Alpha Romeo something or other, etc.
There's a lot for plebian cars though, so don't worry about that.
I'm planning to go around 9 in the Elise then grab some breakfast somewhere around there.

Original Pancake house is right around the corner, 121/DNT. Babe's and Rudy's is right up DNT for lunch.
Mmm... Original Pancake House.
Mel has plans for me after this event - anyone interested in meeting up at the OPH at 121/DNT for breakfast, say 8am?

That was fun. Soren and I got passed by 2 Lamborghini's on the way there. Got to see Cobalt and Bamm. I just missed seeing CosmosM as we left. Cool cars!

We must have just missed you, Sharpie. We saw Bam pulling in as we were leaving.
Lots of cool cars out there this morning. Ferrari F50, BMW M1 (first one I've ever seen in person), '66 Ferrari GT330, original '65 427 Cobra, etc.

It was indeed awesome. Lots of unique cars. What would truly suck would be to have a GTR or a ZR-1 or even a late M3 and have it be "another one." It was nice, though, to pull in and be directed to park with the "show" cars instead of the "spectator" cars.
It was also fun to listen to cars leaving and accelerating away. Too bad about the bozo with the 360 degree Viper exit. That's a good way to get the whole thing cancelled for everybody. As it is, they may need a bigger venue to have enough room for all the machinery.
