Thread: Redline Time Attack Englishtown, NJ

Thumbs up Redline Time Attack Englishtown, NJ

Another weekend in the Fuji Racing IRTB Miata and another win! Redline Time Attack was at Englishtown Raceway this past weekend which is a pretty fun and technical course.

The Fuji car performed great all weekend and even on 2 year old Nitto NT-01s we managed to win modified RWD against a professional drifter (Ryan Tuerck) in a turbo solstice, a Z06, and fully built 240SX race car.

The track was flooded due to rain for most of Saturday so we didn't get much time on the track until Sunday. The weather cleared up on Sunday and we were able to go full out all day.

Both time attack sessions went well and I would have won off of my fastest lap from the first session but lowered another second during the second session. In-car video to come soon.

To help clear the water off the track on Saturday they sent a group of the drivers out in their tow vehicles. Probably one of the most entertaining events of the weekend:

    Congratulations. Great job.
On the track, I am fearless.

Congrats Thomas! I know you can drive, so how much of it is you and how much of it is the IRTB? What else has he done to it since it was at Hallett 2 years ago?

LOL, Asian driving genes are something I've learned to accept and deal with.

Thanks Merv! I have, that's the reason I bought my first Miata. I thought it would eventually lead into that. The wife's not to keen on W2W racing just yet, but she's been very supportive of autocross and time attack.

Check out these photos. People are sinking a ton of money into Time Attack. There was some serious hardware out there this past weekend. Beautiful stuff.

I'm guessing we were the lowest HP and budget team out there this weekend. Kudos to Fuji Racing for building a great car on a budget.
