Default WTS: 92 Mariner Blue w/ fresh motor, clutch, suspension, etc.

    ***SOLD***
Guys, I hate to do it, but we're gonna be in the market for a new house, and the toys are getting converted into down payment $$.
I'm selling the "Ancient Mariner", along with all the extras I have to go with.

    The basics:
    1992 Mariner Blue
<10k on rebuilt motor w/ all-new pistons, valves, rings, etc. (local import shop)
Replaced at same time as motor rebuild: exhaust, clutch (exedy), resurfaced flywheel, motor mounts, radiator, water pump, all gaskets, seals, injectors, timing belt, etc.
    **Top replaced last summer**

Additional items in last 6 months (<2k miles):
    OEM Leather steering wheel
    OEM drivers armrest
OEM black vinyl soft top cover
R-pack Manual Steering Rack retrofit w/ new tie rod ends and ball joints
    KYB AGX Struts
Track Dog Racing radiator cowl shield
    Optima Yellow Top battery
    vinyl stripes
    4 new Michelin Tires
    new platinum plugs
    NGK Blue plug wires
    headlights
Pioneer CD stereo w/ ipod input & door speakers, 6x9's in rear deck (also has headrest speakers)
new rearview mirror w/ map lights
new gauge cluster cover installed SECURELY

    Serviced recently:
    ALL fluids flushed/ replaced
Full synthetic motor oil/NAPA Gold filters
Full synthetic DOT 5 Brake fluid
Full synthetic GL4 Motorcraft Gear Oil (Transmission)
Full Synthetic GL4/5 Redline Differential fluid
4-wheel alignment (mildly autocross set-up, handles great, dead-straight down the highway)
    NAPA Gold fuel filter
    All belts replaced
    Inspected/Registered/Insured
    Much more I'm forgetting...

    Included:

    autoX/track magnetics
spare headlight assembly w/ good motor and matching lid
    spare plastic radiator (good)
94+ Factory seat tower brace (not installed)
F+R HAWK HP+ brake pads (in box)
    Timken/Mazda rear wheel bearings
OEM R-pack 94 springs (used, in box)
spare 1.6 long block (intact, was told it was still running, good head, valve cover, oil pan, timing belt, plastic covers)
original power steering rack and pump

again...a lot more stuff I'm not thinking of yet

Basically, the car is in tip-top running condition, drives super-tight, peppy, starts every time, tight gearbox, nice firm clutch, brakes, steering, etc. All accessories work, top is near-perfect, plastic window nice and clear, and is simply a joy to drive. Autocrossed about 6 times, and really held its own, considering I'm a pretty novice driver. Finished 2nd/3rd in most events in my Novice class, even in 25+ car fields.
Very strong motor, body is straight with NO rust, only minor dings/dents, and mild hail marks that could easily be PDR'd if you felt the need. Paint is surprisingly glossy and original (I think the white stripes really make it "pop").
This car was made as mechanically perfect as possible to be a strong/reliable autocross car that could still be driven anywhere in Texas on a nice weekend. I've spared no reasonable expense in buying quality parts/fluids and doing things "right."

    CAR HAS BEEN SOLD.

By "top replaced last summer", I mean the roof.

    Miles on the odo/chassis?

    191k on the chassis.
Also, has A/C, but needs the p/s delete pulley and bracket to put the belt back on. I have it ordered and CAN have a/c operational as part of sale.
Clear Texas title in-hand (NOT salvage/rebuilt)

***Regarding the A/C, the compressor is on the car, but I do not have it charged and the belt is not on the car (need the idler pulley). I am willing to get the A/C working prior to sale if the buyer wants that, but I will be raising the price of the car by whatever I have to spend to do so. AFAIK, the compressor is good, but I'm not guaranteeing anything beyond the parts being included. I've been quoted $99 to evacuate the system, leak-test and charge with freon, assuming no problems. ***

How much for just the Daisy Wheels with the Azenis. I need some race tires.

In fact, in another few weeks I will need any kind of tires with tread.

Sold. Sad to see her go, but the new owner is an enthusiast, so she's in good hands.
Mods, you can lock this up.
