    Default Steering Troubleshooting

In my 94, which I have not had any time to play with or race since I bought it , I have a steering issue that I need help with. When I picked the car up out of storage last weekend, the steering felt light and quick like my 93. Then as I get closer to home, the steering got "heavier" and if you turned left you had to physically turn the wheel back straight again.

So I flushed out the steering fluid and put in top quality fluid hoping for the cheap/easy fix. Well that did not do it. I have some time to work on the car this weekend, can I get a couple of ideas on what to check? Also all of the 93 steering parts work perfectly on my other car, can I swap parts in order to figure out what the issue is?

Thx in advance for some info.

Maybe the belt is slipping after it gets hot? What's the tension like? How old is the belt?

I do not know the age of the belt, it was on the car when I bought it. I will check the tension and the condition of the belt, but don't remember hearing any belts squeaking on the car.

    thx for the heads up

Is one front tire losing air? I would take a close look at all the hard parts involved too.
