I'd write a letter to the SCCA looking for clarification on the ABS issue. Coupled with the 1.8L brakes, ABS would be a big advantage.

The way I remember reading the rules, only the diff was disallowed. Nothing in the rules required the removal of any other equipment (like ABS) that was otherwise legal for the class.
Excellent idea, I will write a letter to the SCCA and post the results.

Gotta have a big ass wing .

With all the up roar on sccafourms about wings in ST, front air dams offer much more potential down force than wings. I think about the max down force from a ST wing at solo speeds is about 200lbs. If you can make .25 psi (number pulled out of the air) negative pressure under the car with an air dam on a car that is 5ft wide X 7 ft long you get 1260 lbs of down force.

Do I think wings work at solo speeds? Yes I do. The nice thing about wings is cars tend to push at low speeds and get lose at higher speeds. A wing lets you set up the car loser at low speeds without getting to lose at higher speeds. And yes big wings look stupid on miata's.
