I don't think ( I may be wrong here) that her insurance rates would go up.
I think, however, that any quotes from a new insurer in the future would be high because they look at the past filings as "incidences" without regard to details of who was at fault. So it could be a problem should she switch insurance companies.

My policy is up for renewal in October, so guess I will find out soon enough.

Okay so both cars are now in the "shop" - they are completely replacing the trunk - estimated cost is around $3500 for my car. Haven't heard anything about the Altima.

I miss my car - this Impala is tooooo big - I am not used to driving a BIG car.

I am both anxious and nervous about getting it back - I hope they did a good job fixing it. I was surprised to find out that they replaced the front bumper (!?) in addition to the trunk and rear side panels.

William, I feel for you. The pain I went through DAYS after the accident was a big surprise for me. Only NOW is the pain starting to ease up without pain killers. I am seeing a chiropractor 3x a week, at first it made things a LOT worse, but apparently that's normal? I've never been to a chiropractor before and I am not convinced it does any good - hardly a visit has gone by where somebody in that office hasn't tried to sell me something.

Might also try full body deep tissue massage. Sometimes the mussels being too tense will cause the bones to get out of place. Worked for me.
