Using coax cable was a good idea. I had to dry my trunk last night from all of the rain.
You guys probably already took care of this, and forgive a newbie if you have,
but here's a picture of what fell out of my '91 when I replaced the DS front fender.
I finally got time to loosen the lower part of the PS fender this week-end and an even bigger wad of crap was behind it.
(No picture, so it must not have happened ).
Also, one of the rain rail drain tubes was clogged up with bits of drilled out pop rivits from a previous top replacement.
A length of co-ax cable poked up from the bottom worked well to get the water flowing again.

I remember doing a little cleaning of that fender area on my old '92. Amazing how much crap gets stuck in there!
I had to use a spoon because all of the junk was wet and a bit stuck against the inner wheel well. Reminds me I should do that the next time we have a semi-dry weekend.
