Default Guess who bought a door??????

I finally bought a door from mazda nissan heaven after class today. It's in perfect shape but is silver, not bad for $125.

Should'nt be too hard to pull the lock they are usually held on by a spring clip, as are the door pannels held on by several clips. The inside door arm rest and handles are also held in place by a feew screws. Nothing that hard.

It was easy on my '91 NA. Pull the door panel, peel back the plastic, and you will find 2 nuts hold the door handle to the door. You will have to disconnect the latch rod and the lock rod. One of them is kind of tricky in that it is a clam shell design that you have to open it around the rod. It's the threaded latch rod IIRC. Mark the positions of the nylon latches on the rods with a marker so that when you go back together they are already adjusted correctly.

Once the door handle is off, the lock comes out easy.

    Hope this helps.

Did you by chance see any trunk lids out there, prices? I'm looking for a black one, but I don't want to go out there and find nothing, or have to pay north of $150 for one.

Is it a manual driver door? I might need some stuff out of it.
