Had a '80 Ford Courier while my dad had a '84 Mazda B2000. Mazda parts were expensive but the cheaper Ford parts were mostly interchangable. They were both bomb proof and were only done in by colisions during icestorms. If you find either of those today they are probably extremely well used up and near immpossible to get parts for.I have a '90 Toyota Hilux I bought new with the 4 cyl 22re motor and 5 sp. Again bomb proof and still running with nothing having been replaced other than the usual maintenance. My wife had a '86 Toyota SR5. Again drove the wheels off of it and only traded it because we didn't need two small trucks. Finding parts for either of these Toyotas is extremely easy. Up here the short wheelbase Toyotas are extremely popular for deer camp trucks. You can find them pretty cheap and easily if you don't mind a few dents and camo house paint.
