So now that the game is out i have to share. It's so horrable... =(













then i woke up from my nightmare to find it's the best racing game i have played to date. only thing i don't like is the long load times which after installing to the hard drive will help and when you do the first race you can't modify your controls, you are stuck with some lame a button for gas b for brake.... was kinda tricky but after that smooth sailing.

Now for the review... come on, you have to give us more than that! I don't have an xBox 360, but this game/simulator alone has me thinking seriously about making the purchase. Since we already have a PS3, two PS2's and a Wii, my wife would be mad if I bought an xBox 360 too, but after a couple of days in the doghouse, I'd still have FIII to play .

So how about some real reviews folks? Or should I just continue to wait for GT5 to come out since after all this time it will be the most awesomeist simulator evar... right?

it's the best racing game i have played to date

GT5 is going to be grate and maybe better but for now forza 3 is everything and more. the biggest thing forza 3 does right is driving cars with a controller. They spent so much time making the game feel just right with a thumb stick and no matter how much cool stuff they pack into a game it must be playable.

only played 2 with a friend, very few people online right now, everyone is trying to lvl up cars and get credits for build cars in the single player racing.

Store opens I go in..................they didn't order enough Limited Edition Forza 3s to fill all of the pre-orders. Can someone please tell me WTF is the point of a pre-order if the game's not there to pick up?

Manager promised he would have me one in by the time I got off work tomorrow. Needless to say I wasn't too happy after a 24 hr duty and a 1 hr nap in the car to find out I wasted 1 hr I could have been at home taking care of other things.

So as soon as I get my copy tomorrow I'll be up for an online Miata get together.

same thing happened to me but i go to the one with non asshat employees if god forbid i have to go to a gamestop ever. they gave me a normal version as a employee rental (ya employees can rent new games then they resale them to you as new) and i returned it today for a copy of my limited at no extra charge.

Well this one is usually a good one. First time they've not had a game ready to go for me. If I would have had that info above I would have asked them for that cause I was planning on sitting around playing it all day.

Now I have to go deal with reality lol.

The game is really good. The level of detail is great. The feeling of speed is very good without being cartoon-like. Comparing it to a real track I drove and driving that track in the game was spot on. I had the feeling I was back on Road Atlanta.

I did not have a wheel for FM2. I picked it up for FM3. For the best in reality the wheel is the way to go. You are able to adjust inputs for gas and steering as you approach the apex and roll on power to the exit.

The AI in the race mode is much better. You cannot just charge to the front fighting your way up. Plus it is more fun to work your way to the front without any damage. If you push the AI cars they will over drive and go off track of slide. Nice effect.

I am running an e36 M3 in B and a Exige in A. Both feel like the real car on the track

Is FM3 just like driving on the track? No, but it is a close second.

OH you can put state plates on them?? Oh and where is the drifting and fun track at with the big aircraft hangar?? Do you need to complete a bunch of events to get those??

I picked up my copy today and played it for a few hours. Got an Ion Redline setup just like mine and a Miata setup just like mine. Just a different year. Right now may favorite car that I don't own in real life has got the be the little all wheel drive hatchback Alfa Romeo. It's just a hoot to drive.

But like I said I'm just trying to find the other fun stuff. Oh and I put the redeem codes in from the cards that I got in my limited edition box and I don't have any of the xtra tracks or cars. Do you need to restart the game after entering the codes?

Well I have been playing a ton of Forza getting used to everything. Lots of time on the paint editor figuring out how to do the shading etc.. This S5 is one I just finished. It has a few custom things and then shading on the arches to make them stand out a tad. You can check it out on my store front by searching rabid s5.
