Default Just waned to say hello

    Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum. I did not even know that this existed until recently. I purchased my first Miata in May of 2006. It was a 1990 with 180K miles. I fell in love with it the second I drove it and told my friend that I wanted it. A year later it was mine.

I have owned 3 more since then: 1992 turbo, 1993 turbo and now a 2006 that I just put a Cosworth Supercharger on. And now that the Sniper Tune software is ready to do what it is supposed to do, I am hoping to tear up some asphalt in the Dallas area.

If all goes well, I should be back in Texas soon and after some physical therapy I should be back up and driving again shortly thereafter. I look forward to meeting you all and getting together for some autocross events.

Permagrin fully intact.

Sandor stopped by my house today and gave me a ride in his '06 Cosworth LE. All I can say is WOW. That is one clean, smooth, fast car!

Thanks for the kind words Titus. I too had a blast in your car. I was very impressed with the handling and performance of your NA and the clean fit and finish under the hood.

I hope to be back in town in time for the next meeting and getting to know everyone on the forum. I am looking forward to doing track days and autocross events once everything gets back to normal in my life. "Normal" is a relative term though. LOL and I have very few relatives who fit that term.

Years ago, my grandmother told me that the only people that you think are "normal" are the ones you don't know very well. I still think she was right.

Sandor, did I see you out on LBJ the other day with the top down when it was 27 degrees? I got buzzed by a loud-ass red NC... but the windows were up, so I figured the driver must be a poser...

    Welcome aboard!

That was probably me. I do not drive with the top up unless it is raining or my girlfriend complains. But, she complained once to many times and now she is my EX-girlfriend. LOL
