I purposely avoided watching the Cowboys/Saints game because I had zero faith in our Boys. So I caught the 14-3 score in the first half, and I was guardedly optimistic. At the start of the 4th, I was pleased that we were somehow still up 24-10. Luckily, I was able to catch the last half of the 4th at a bar that was apparently packed with Saints fans. They were cheering at all the wrong moments. What made it even stranger was that the place was packed with 10-15 guys and gals dressed in Santa suits - they were just drunk and cheering for Christmas. Anyhow, I cussed the TV and almost threw a beer when Folk missed that effing field goal, but I relished the pure deflation that occurred in that place when DeMarcus "I Almost Broke My Effing Neck Last Week" Ware sacked Brees and Ratliff recovered the fumble. I jumped up and down and launched the orange slice out of my empty Blue Moon glass. The outnumbered Cowboy fans were all high-fiving each other - hell, we even high-fived the creepy dude at the end of the bar wearing a Doors t-shirt that barely covered his belly.
Good times. Go Cowboys. Whew.

I cant believe the saints played so freakin bad last night, I'll bet Brees is chewing some arse today.
I am so mad even today I could just chew nails, there goes a perfect season.
I have to say I suspected it would happen tho after the last two games, the Saints look like they are out of gas....unless they turn it around and get hungry again.
I would hate to see them come this far and lose the first playoff game.

The Cowboys played a pretty good game last night... most of them, anyway.
Nick Folk needs to be fired. Seriously. He's pathetic. You do not miss a 24 yard field goal - in a freakin' dome, no less - that would put you up two scores against an undefeated team with 3 minutes left to play in the game. If Ware hadn't been on fire and Brees had connected on that drive, all the momentum would have been with the Saints and it could have been a completely different outcome in overtime.
Nick Folk sucks nuts. He has missed at least one field goal attempt in each of the last six games. He is the single biggest liability the Cowboys currently have.

I didn't see the game
When I hear of upsets like this, I always remember what an old friend says:
"Every professional sport is fixed except wrestling. Who in their right mind would bet on a wrestling match?"

It's all a moot point. Colts are going to win it.
