DAMN! That thing got beaten with the uuuuuuugly stick. I actually like the CTS and STS, but this new DeVille is butt-ass ugly. It looks like someone stuck an Escalade grille on the outgoing model.

I don't know... some 24" wheels with spinners and you might have something... bling bling!

Yeah, but those spinner wheels better be bullet proof and hide the no-flat systems...

Lightness? What's that? I drive a PRHT!
is it just me or does the drivers door (and most of the windows for that matter) look horribly out of proportion???
The standard DTS will have a more conventional greenhouse since the civilian version is less likely to come under enemy fire.Originally Posted by rx7gslse

So is this one front-drive, like the current DeVille, or is it rear drive, like the STS & CTS?

A FWD limo... that would be interesting. I saw a show on all of the crazy limo driving classes the Secret Service drivers go through... I suspect they would have to go thru some re-training with a switch to FWD.Originally Posted by altiain

The 2006 DTS will maintain the same exterior dimensions and ample proportions of the current DeVille, but its nose and tail will get a significant makeover to bring the car in line stylistically with the rest of the Cadillac family.
That means the DTS will feature more angular lines and a prominent egg-crate grille to give it more of a family resemblance to the STS and CTS sedans.
But what fun would that be to learn how to toss that big hunk of metal into a pirouette!!

Yep that is ugly and I am sure WE paid a lot for it.
Hard to make a Tank look like a Sporty Lexus.
I like the 24" spinner idea. Everyone will be looking at the wheels
and not the ugly car. Even a Protape stripe won't help that car.

Sure thing 3Bean. Just walk right on up to the nice ticket takers in the dark suits and sunglasses and ask for your ride.
